Everytime I go to check my stats it restarts the stats. Its frustrating when I have stats that I actually liked

Like a lot of other people have said, theres a bug in this release that causes the stats to randomly reset mid-game. Its happened to me like 10 times. The error message is something like, "the game needs to reset to incorporate the latest bugfixes." Only way to get the stats back is to start over and the same bug will usually reset them even if you start over or reinstall the game. Its basically unplayable until this is fixed.

Im a guy, and I thoroughly enjoyed most of the options. Of course if youre as insecure as the other reviewer and get annoyed that you cant dominate and control every female character, then yeah, dont buy it. You do get to choose your sexuality, but like in the real world, not all characters will bend at the waist at your beck and call. The game isnt a power harem fantasy, but you get your moneys worth and its fairly interesting for a choice game. In fact its one of the publishers better games. The real interest isnt in the romance as much as it is becoming the queen/kings consort and trying to solve all of the plights from there-on. Be warned that there are bugs, but if you go to the main menu and reload your game your stats will still be there. Only a minor annoyance.

To be honest Ive been seeing a lot of these in the COG library, games which are really slow and have almost nothing going on in them. The fact that it bugged out and reset my stats didnt help either. And its just so groggy and stale, I see no stakes in any of the choices you would make and to be honest none of the characters were doing it for me, they were all very clichéd and just werent very engaging.

Maybe I was just too into the court intrigue and wanting to bang everyone. But every playthrough kept revealing at least 1 new slide and Ive only had the same ending twice out of maybe 6ish runs but the journey there was very different for either playthrough! I didnt mind the bug as much since I kept track of my characters traits internally. But it should still be fixed! Aside from the bug, I can see myself coming back to this game every now and then to play the home-wrecker and shy virgin at the same time.
